Only 2 minutes walk from the Stubnerkogel valley station, grab your ski or snowboard equipment from the locked ski cellar and the extra room with ski boot dryer in our Pension Gabriele. The cold mountain air welcomes you at the front door and then you are spoilt for choice. Up to the Stubnerkogel, down into the Angertal valley and over to the Schloßalm and many kilometres of pistes, or enjoy the slopes of the only natural snow mountain Graukogel.
Away from mass tourism, the Graukogel is also very popular with ski tourers. Especially on full moon nights you can see the tracks in the snow towards Graukogel or to the Stubneralm. Especially on these days the huts are open in the evenings especially for ski touring enthusiasts.
The high-altitude skiing area Sportgastein offers skiing pleasure from the end of November to the beginning of May. So if you can't wait to make your tracks in the snow or don't want to stop, you've come to the right place.
Pure sun skiing at the highest point in Gastein with 2686 meters altitude. This is also the Mecca for freeriders and powder snow fans.
Special tours with local guides in the most beautiful firn snow to untouched points promise an unforgettable skiing experience.
The families are also convinced of Gastein. Gasti Park, magic carpet, great beginner areas and learning to ski becomes real kids fun. The Ski Mini Club starts from the age of 3 and offers you instructors with different mother tongues for perfect communication with your youngest. But also for the older ones, ski school courses can be booked according to ability in close proximity to your holiday home.
But there is more. On windy days with us in Bad Gastein we recommend to explore the skiing area Dorfgastein - Grossarl. A total of over 200 kilometres of pure skiing experience are at your disposal. Ski schools, guides & ski rentals can be found in the immediate vicinity. Everything is within walking distance and your car will remain in the carport during your holiday.
